Tattoo Brewing Co. traces its roots to 1994, when Pony Express Brewing Co. was founded in Olathe, Kansas—home to the first production microbrewery in the state. At the time, Kansas laws had to be changed to allow small brewers to produce more than 5,000 barrels, marking a pivotal moment in the state’s brewing history.
